I trade under the name of Precise Lingo Services offering English-Polish, German-Polish, and occasionally Polish-English translation, proofreading, editing and research services.
Before launching a full-time career as a freelance translator I worked as an archaeologist, museum assistant, and program coordinator in academic and healthcare environments. I began my translation career working as part-time translator. I also worked as in-house translator at Hotel Reservation Service, Germany, where I translated the company’s website into Polish.
My educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in ESL, Master of Arts in English, and a Translation Certificate. In addition, I hold a MA degree in Archaeology and PhD degree in Jewish studies. My comprehensive education and broad interests have given me a good understanding of several subject areas, in addition to my own areas of expertise. I have been involved in the proofreading and translation of many published archaeological and geological articles, and published PhD dissertation. I have worked for scientists from the Universities of Rzeszów, Kraków, and Poznań.
One of my strongest qualities is my close connection to the English and German languages and culture due to living for extended periods of time in Germany, Canada and the United States of America.
